Sissy Crag and the Drop Bears (Sydney)

This is the second post about Sissy, and maybe not the last one. This crag is so fantastic ! There is a variety of problems with a range of grades between V1 to V11, and it is purely overhanging. You can imagine all problems you want along 200m. This time I went with Laurent, Duncan and Nicolas (the photographer).

We had a break for the lunch, and had the change to listen to an interesting and terrific story : "Drop Bears in Australia".
Apparently in the bush in Australia, during a walk, you can meet some of them. They use to be very discreet and live at the peak of the trees. They look like koalas, but they are maybe bigger. Usually they wait for a tourist, and then they just drop on you ! Some people say they can be very aggressive and attack your skin with their claw. I don't want to imagine the massacre.

Location: Turn off Warringah Rd, Forestville, into Ryrie Ave and then take the first left which is Bridgeview Crescent. Park at the end of Bridgeview Crescent and follow the track down the hill just right of the gate. The track doubles back and you'll come across a big south-west facing cave, this is it.

Le logo de "Gisèle et les garçons"

Voici la participation au grand concours, des petits gars et gazelles de Cybernetourix ! Originaires de Marseille, ils sont aussi de fervent grimpeurs. A Bleau, on les surnomme amicalement "Gisèle et les garçons". Il paraîtrait même que dans les calanques, les Moustachus sont aussi appelés le club des "super mario" !!

Pour tous les moustachus amoureux de l'escalade ... et surtout ceux qui n'en veulent du biscuit, des crèpes aux oeufs et des z'haricots verts ! ... voici le topo d'accès au site de Lopburi en Thailande ! A faire de préférence en moto avec un maillot de bain dans la poche arrière gauche.

Grand concours "Logo des Moustachus"

Le groupe des Moustachus commence à être serieusement connu !
Tout le monde en parle dans les milieux autorisés, comme par exemple dans les douches des salles d'escalade parisiennes, les campings australiens ou encore le bowling de Chamonix ! Les posts du blog deviennent celèbres et sont entendus dans des endroits aussi insolites que des sociétés informatiques cergy-pontoises, des bars de la place Stanislas à Nancy ou des piscines d'Ile-de-France !
C'est le moment pour nous de choisir le logotype des Moustachus ! Oui, Les Moustachus ont maintenant besoin d'un sigle ou d' une emblème pour être identifiés de manière unique. C'est pourquoi est organisé ce grand concours qui consiste à élir mais aussi proposer le logo des Moustachus. Le grand gagnant qui verra son logo finalement choisi, aura la chance de gagner un tee-shirt estampillé !
